Proud Nation is the wing which deals with everything to do with collections and collecting.

Our goal, both simple and revolutionary is to create a Proud Heritage national collection linking objects, documents, audio, video and images distributed across all the nations of the British Isles.

This wing will lift the lid on homophobia in the museums sector, both intentional and unintentional, and explore the unique cultural challenges interpreting LGBT heritage presents.

It will also act as repository of models of good practice, useful resources and a networking hub for people in the community and in the heritage sector doing collections work.
